Our first quiz and curry night of the year was a huge success, with laughs a plenty, themed rounds to suit all ages and levels of humour….and of course a huge and tasty curry thrown in.

Alex Rich and his wife Philippa created and hosted the quiz superbly, with music rounds, some charades and questions which were either easy or hard (depending on whether you knew the answer or not!)

Halfway through, everyone enjoyed the curry with main dishes and side dishes to fuel the body if not the mind.

Smithy and his team did an excellent job all evening serving the food and keeping everyone lubricated with table service for drinks.

Winners on the night were the team captained by Glen and Corinne Jackson, but really, everyone who went was a winner as it was a great night out.
