At Stoke, we are passionate about helping as many as we can in both our club and the wider local community. It’s hard to think of a better way than via our third Prostate Cancer Screening Event which we hold in memory of former club member Dick Chalmers.
The concept is simple: we invite men over 40 to book online and come along to the club on Thursday 11th July (4.30pm to 7.30pm) to have a small blood sample taken that is then sent to be PSA tested – a widely recognised test for early signs of prostate cancer. Your results are back in a couple of days.
There is a charge of £25 which goes directly to The Graham Fulford Cancer Trust who were awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service in November for the amazing way they support the early diagnosis and awareness of prostate cancer and speedy diagnosis through PSA testing.
Please share the event with others and we look forward to seeing you on the day.
