SbN member Lesley Hitchcock has missed out by the narrowest of margins in the Essex Ladies county competition – The Windfall Trophy.
Lesley was eligible for the competition as she won the qualifying Stableford competition at Stoke.
Alongside 31 other qualifiers from all over the county, Lesley turned in a strong performance at Colne Valley Golf Club, finishing with 36 points.
Unfortunately, Lesley lost out on countback, finishing second overall to Claire Vaughan from Frinton, also on 36 points.
