Captains’ day has now been and gone for the Men’s section, and Men’s Captain Matt Tunstall has summarised it like this.
“I would just like to thank everyone for the amazing turnout and support at my Captain’s Day.
“A relatively mild day led to some high scores despite the firm ground. The highlight of which was everyone’s favourite, Australian format.
“As you all know, the Australian is generally the make or break, and our winners Paul Ketley and Ben Wharton certainly made it with 37 points leading to an overall winning score of 79. Great golf Paul and Ben!
“It was also a tough school with all nearest the pins on the course. Colin Pottle leaving one just inches away on the 9th. Nearly a very expensive afternoon!
“Once again thank you to everyone for taking part and making the day, one to remember”.
