More than £300 was raised at the recent Ladies 9 hole charity day – with the money going to Little Lifts.
Ladies Captain Stella Hammond was delighted with the response on the day, which incorporated 9 holes on the course, but also a nearest the pin competition in the simulator and a putting competition in the Gallery Bar.
The Ladies also ate a lot of delicious cake – although that wasn’t a competition!
Thanks to the generosity, both in providing cakes and entering the fun competitions, over £300 was raised.. a terrific amount.
Winners on the day were Corinne Jackson and Bev Thompson, with Katie Clark and Corinne Jackson receiving golf balls for nearest the pin and putting.
Stella said: “I’d like to thank everyone who played, and everyone who helped on the day for all their generosity.”
