Rain and howling winds didn’t dampen the spirits of those brave members of the Ladies Section who ventured out to play in the Easter Waltz competition.
The winners of the 18 hole competition were Claire Nixon, Katie Clark and Corinne Jackson, and the winners of those who managed 9 holes before weather conditions came into play were Maureen Adams, Pamela Randle and Amanda Hall.
After the golf there was a quiz and a raffle and £166 was raised towards Captain Stella Hammond’s Little Lifts charity appeal.
