We finished the season with a victory in the Ladies Harris Bowl competition, but it was not enough to qualify for the knockout stages.
In the warm July sunshine, Stoke beat Thorpe Hall 3-2 at home, but by losing three of the five group matches, progress was halted.
It was a good finish to our season, with Bev Ellender winning on the 18th to secure the team’s win.
We had a good time though, and all were proud to represent the Club. The squad consisted of Katie Clark, Sue Gregory, Liz Kiddy, Barby Jones, Stella Hammond, Janet Bettle, Erika Dean, Jill Pottle, Elaine Harris and Bev Ellender.
