Every year SBN members hold a competition where the profits are sent to Ferriers Barn based in Bures.
Last year’s Men’s Captain, Glen Jackson, this week visited the Centre and presented them with a cheque for £275 – raised during the last event.
Glen said: “Ferriers Barn is a small local Charity based in Bures, it is a day centre for adults with disabilities. Ferriers Barn provides a great day out for all its members and also respite for the families and carers. Their service provides an essential service in a rural area and as a registered Charity they receive no Government funding. They rely on grants and donations like ours, to continue to provide the service they do, so this is just a small way of us being able to help”.
