Karl has left the building!!

Director of Golf Karl Hepple bowed out of Stoke by Nayland this week after five years with us.

Karl is taking up the position of Chief Executive at The Norman Garon Trust in Southend, which has a 27-hole golf complex as well as other sports opportunities for the local community.

Club President Peter Garnett, on behalf of all members, sent Karl away with our best wishes, plus a generous amount of John Lewis vouchers bought with a members’ collection.

As many of you will know, Karl is buying a house in Colchester so the vouchers will come in handy.

Karl said: “I’m truly overwhelmed by the generosity of the members at SbN. A lot has changed in the five years I have been here, and I hope, for the better.

“The golf club is in great hands with the golf team I leave behind working in conjunction with the Management Board.

“As I am staying locally, I’ll be back in the future to see how you’re all getting on. Thanks for everything, and see you soon”
