The annual challenge match between teams representing the Ladies Captain and the Ladies Vice-Captain has finished in a draw!
With randomly chosen teams playing a betterball match, both teams finished with 68 points, meaning Captain Stella Hammond and Vice-Captain Jill Pottle both had hands on the trophy.
Following the competition the Ladies enjoyed their annual Sumbler dinner and the overall Sumbler winner for 2024 – Barby Jones – was presented with her prize.
Well done Barby and to all the ladies who have played on a Tuesday over the summer. We look forward to resuming again next April.
