Please be advised that the grass overflow parking area between the Gainsborough 8th green and the 9th tee is temporarily closed while archaeological excavations are carried out.
These excavations are being made as part of the planning application process for our proposed new golf holes, and are under the supervision of the Suffolk County Archaeologist.
We expect the dig to last approximately 14 days.
During this time, we ask that all golfers walking from the 8th to the 9th keep to the path.
