Sarah Atherton scored her first ever hole in one playing in the Hunter Guide Dog Trophy with husband Graham.

On the 11th Gainsborough, using her 3 wood, Sarah hit the front of the slope, rolled up on to the green and into the hole.

Sarah said: “It wasn’t one of my best shots, but there are no pictures on the scorecard”.

The ace scored the team 5 points, but it was not enough to give them the win and Sarah and Graham eventually finished second overall.
