Stoke-By-Nayland Golf Club successfully hosted its 4th Dick Chalmers Memorial PSA Testing event on 22nd May, in partnership with The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust (GFCT). The event welcomed 100 men, including club members and locals, running smoothly thanks to dedicated volunteers and skilled GFCT phlebotomists. Blood samples were couriered for testing on the same night, and results were promptly shared within days—providing crucial opportunities for early detection and intervention.
The club emphasizes the importance of Men’s Mental Health & Wellbeing, seeing this event as a way to support not just its members but the wider community.
Special thanks go to our trusted phlebotomists Jen and Faye, our volunteers, and to Dave Holland for covering the team’s post-event meals.
The club encourages ongoing conversations about Prostate Cancer awareness among families. We look forward to hosting our 5th Dick Chalmers Memorial PSA Testing event on Thursday 21st May 2026 (pre booking essential).
