Summer may still feel like a long way away, but the planning for the 2025 Stoke by Nayland Golf Week is well underway.
We now have a full calendar of activity booked for the week – starting with a bumper summer party on Saturday June 21.
Although there will be plenty of competitions – the key to Golf Week is to have fun, and hopefully members will get to try things they have never done before. Like playing with a non-golfer in Foxes and Hares or going over the woods in the Cross Country event. Maybe even tackling the surprises in store in the ever-popular Greenkeepers’ Revenge!
The full diary looks like this:
• Saturday June 21, Summer Party with dancing to “The Beavers”
• Sunday June 22, Foxes and Hares 9 hole event. Golfer gets the ball from tee to green, no-golfer tries to putt out! Followed by BBQ on the terrace.
• Monday June 23, Greenkeepers’ Revenge with many fiendish obstacles to overcome
• Tuesday June 24, An all day 9 hole mixed Stableford event, just enter and play at a time that suits you
• Wednesday June 25, Cross Country, plot your way round the course like you never have before
• Thursday June 26, Ladies Pro-Am event
• Friday June 27, Friday Night Mixed 9 hole Stableford
• Saturday June 28, Mixed Texas Scramble team event with barbecue afterwards
Bookings for all events will open on How Did I Do from June 1 – don’t miss out!
